Richard Stanley was sentenced to 8 years in prison when he was 19 years old for robbing over a dozen banks. Both memoirs dive deep into his experience of surviving a California prison and detail exactly how he did it. Although he was accused of escaping the prison grounds and returning with goods before count time, he would not recommend that his readers attempt the same thing.
